I am here to support the board, staff, volunteers, and all stakeholders — promoting your mission with funders — jumping in before the outgoing exec leaves and providing support and specialized training to help the incoming leader settle in.
When you hire me as your Interim Executive Leader, I’m committed to a partnership that lasts 3 to 18 months.
Every organization has its own set of needs, so what's available as an interim solution might vary. I consider:
Whether the outgoing executive is/was a founder
Whether the outgoing executive is/was with the agency for a long time (founder-like), or conversely, an abbreviated period
Whether the outgoing executive is/was a volunteer or a paid employee
Whether the agency knows they need help with a transition plan and what that transition is
The hours and duration of your Interim Executive Leadership engagement will also depend on these factors:
The environmental status left by the outgoing executive
What the board knows needs to be done before the new executive is in place
The budget
The top needs and priorities of the board
If the organization/programs/funding is currently functioning as it should
If the organization/program is growing and/or if the organization has a strategic plan it is following

My value-based fee structure considers the incoming executive's salary plus benefits, the general scope of work for the interim period, and your organization’s budget
